Policies

We believe in easy to understand terms, so here are ours, with no fine print.

Content

We do not work on sites that contain profanity or obscene material of any kind. We do not accept projects that promote the use of tabacco or alcohol products, or that promote any illegal activity.   We reserve the right to decline any project that includes content we are not comfortable with.

Copyrights and use of code

The code you receive from us is copyrighted, but you are free to modify it however you want for the site it was designed for. This applies whether the website is for your own use or for the use of your client. It may not be re-sold or re-distributed for other projects, however, whether the code has been modified or not.   Our copyright notices must remain in the source code, unchanged. We do not place any branding, other than the copyright notices, in the code we provide you. (Our copyright notices are visible only in the source code.)   We retain the right to re-use the code we provide you, for other projects.

Non-disclosure

Bubble Creek Software does not sign non-disclosure agreements, because then we would have to hire lawyers to read, negotiate, and approve them, and this would drive up the cost of our services.  Instead, we simply give you our word that we will not disclose any proprietary information you give us.

Payments

Some parts of the code may be encrypted until the final payment for our work has cleared. The encrypted code will function normally until its programmed expiration date.   When the final payment has cleared, we will supply you the key to unlock the source code and remove the expiration feature.   Once unlocked, the code will look like any other web page code.

Corrections

For a period of 30 days after delivery of the code, Bubble Creek Software will fix any problems at no charge.   Simply tell us if something isn't working right and we will fix it.
